FOOTBALL: CIF OPEN Championship

Congratulations to the Cathedral Catholic football team on winning the CIF Open Division title versus the #1 seed Carlsbad Lancers. CC reached the finals by earning the #2 seed in the Open and defeating the Mission Hills Grizzlies 38-10.

Carlsbad earned the #1 seed and punched their ticket to the finals by dominating the #4 seed Torrey Pines Falcons 44-7.

With the victory, Cathedral has now won 13 San Diego Section CIF championships. Congrats on amazing 2021 season.
