Hoover’s Lopez strikes out 21 – Ties Record
Marco Lopez has pitched in Petco Park with every kid’s dream of playing in the big leagues dancing in his head.
He threw a no-hitter earlier this season, striking out 16 Kearny hitters.
But the Hoover High senior left-hander said he never felt the way he did Monday before facing Central League foe Lincoln in a game for first place atop the league.
