La Jolla High School’s Reagan Bennett Reaches 1,100 Points

La Jolla High School basketball player Reagan Bennett has passed 1,100 career points as a junior, which is believed to be a first for the school.

Reagan came to La Jolla High as a freshman along with her twin sister, Drew, and was immediately brought onto the girls varsity team.

Reagan can play all five positions, and coach Alex Caceres credits her with “bringing more toughness and awareness of the game.”

In 2014, senior Sophia Sower scored her 1,000th career point, becoming only the third player in La Jolla High’s history to hit 1,000 points.
